The Clock Is Ticking

Since its conception in 1971, billions have been spent on the war on drugs. Agreeably some drugs included in this “war” are extremely dangerous, however, cannabis accounts for the largest number of controlled substance arrests each year. Billions of dollars have been spent on the pursuit of searching out, trying, convicting and eventually incarcerating users of cannabis. This being said, millions of Americans wake up every day to go to work as an employee, boss or company owner. Sounds like a lot of hard work only to have the government tax them on something that is now legal either medicinally or recreationally in twenty six states plus the District of Colombia. Makes sense right? To see just how much America is wasting annually, you can check out the war on drugs cost clock at http://www.drugsense.org/cms/wodclock. Stay educated, stay TREED.
